  3. Recommended Book • Series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket. • The lost puppy by Diana Read • The golden dawn by Jenny (last name unknown) • The missing dress by Harriet Lanly. • The famous five by Enid Blyton.

  4. Extract • The boys at once thought of the long ago mystery of the disappearance of the bartles. • They felt quite uncomfortable. “We are going now, so don’t worry,” said Julian. The famous five: Five go to mystery moor by Enid Blyton.

  5. Why we enjoy this genre • Jess: because I like it when you have to solve problems and sometimes the reader can solve it their self. • Katie: I like reading them because I like thinking of what's going to happen next. • Sophie: I like reading them because I like the mystery's.
