According to UNESCO,itistheabilitytodevelop,produce,and disseminatevariousculturalexpressionswithout intervention from the government, the political system, or non-state actors. It is crucial for the healthofsocietiesandinvolveseveryone'srightto accesstheseworks. INTRODUCTION

  3. Throughouthistory,censorshipandoppression havebeenissuesforartistsandinnovators. However,oneofthefewchannelsthroughwhich wecanpeacefullydemandourrightsandfreedom andadvocateforchangeisthroughdifferentforms of art like shadow art, context art in Miami and otherregions. Theonlythingthatcanbesaidwithcertaintyis thatthereisahighlyintricatelinkbetweenartand behaviour.Sincethedawnoftime,violentand graphicsexualcontenthasbeenamainstayof humansocieties.Thesemotifs,whichmanyhuman behavioralistsseeasactingasavicariousoutletfor personal violence, serve a beneficial and positive socialfunction.

Freedomofexpressionandthepowerofartare inextricablylinked.Arthastheabilitytodefy expectations,effectchange,andprovidevoiceto underrepresentedgroups.ArtistslikeMcKayOtto, ParishKohanimfrequentlyproduceartaddressing themeslikeinequality,injustice,andprejudicethat areotherwiseoverlookedormisunderstood.These pieces of art have the power to incite discussion anddrawattentiontopressingsocietalconcerns. Expressionrightsareessentialhumanrights.It enablespeopletoexpresstheirthoughts,ideas, and opinions without worrying about negative consequences.Thefreedomofspeechhaslong beenadifficulttopicintherealmofart.

  5. Governments,people,ororganizationswithdiverse interestscouldnotagreewithwhatanartisthasto sayintheirwork,whichcouldresultincensorship,a ban, or injury to the artist. Denying artists the freedomtoexpressthemselvesisnotonlyharmful to the arts and to the creative community, but it also restricts society's potential to advance and solveitsproblemsthroughthearts. Inordertomaintainfreedomofspeechinsociety, the role of artists is crucial. It is their duty to developandgenerateinformationthatchallenges misconceptionsandviewswhileincreasingpublic awarenessofproblems.

In additiontobeingvisuallyappealing,artshouldalso effectivelycommunicateideasandconceptstoits audienceandengagetheminconversation.It's possiblethatnoteveryonewillbeintheaudience; infact,artisnotmeanttoappealtoeveryone's tastes.Thepurposeofartistomakepeoplethink critically about their own values and views in society. Many of the artists represented at today’s art galleriescontinuetoquestionculturalexpectations and prejudices while advocating for justice and changeinourfallenworld.Artisnotobjective;it hasthecapacitytoelicitdebateandforceusto reexamineourconvictions.
