  4. Cello • The Cello is a bowed string instrument with four strings • The cello is a member of the violin family • The Cello comes from the Italian violoncello which means little violone

  5. String Bass • The String Bass is also called the Double Bass or the upright bass • The string bass is the largest but has the lowest pitched

  6. Harp • The harp is the oldest instruments • The harp has then smallest strings

  7. Piano • Piano is a shortened word for pianoforte • The Piano has a hammer to strike each string • When the piano key is released it has a damper stop the string vibration

  9. Snare Drum • The snare drum is played by striking with a drum stick • The snare drum can be made by various wood

  10. Bass Drum • Bass drum can be at variable sizes • The Bass drum is the largest drum of the orchestra

  22. Tuba • Tuba is know for the largest but lowest pitch • The Tuba sound is buzzing • The lips into a large cupped mouth piece
