  2. There are a lot of ways to make your kitchen friendly to you. With little efforts and tiny adjustments and addition, it can be transformed into an extremely productive and stress free environment. With a few tweak it can be become the most multi-activity place in a custom built house. This will be the topic of discussion today as we highlight a few modifications one can do to their kitchen to further enhance its appeal and looks.

  3. Get a Writing Board in the Kitchen If not a big one, then a small one just for you would suffice, where you can jot down reminders, prioritize things, keep a schedule and note important things like a grocery list. A creative way to involve everyone while you are in the kitchen or to spread a vibe of creativity in the family is to get a writing board fitted on one of the walls of the kitchen. It can be used for so much more than writing down reminders. Put up a crossword puzzle, leave it for others to solve. Maybe a recipe to cook as a family with your kids on the weekend. Such things can keep the family bonded and involved into healthy activities.

  4. Make Your Kitchen More Practical Remember, that a kitchen need not be overrun by excessive storage items. It needs to be practical. Practice in the sense that everything about it should be designed to your benefit; to help to perform the kitchen tasks with relative ease and no discomfort. How far is the trash bin from where you usually cut your vegetables? Is the fridge within reach? Is the countertop large enough to unpack groceries you bring in? If not what other space you can use to accommodate that? Seek out answers to these questions.

  5. Retire Old and Rusted Kitchenware Old and rusty kitchenware only makes for a dull kitchen. For the sake of health and appearance, you should retire rusted and old kitchenware. If you have no need for it, then toss it. Instead, bring out shiny crockery and place it neatly in the cabinets. This is not an excuse to buy shiny pieces of crockery. Just get what is needed the most and that would complement your kitchen.

  6. A Wall Fan Wouldn’t Hurt It can get really hot in the kitchen. As such proper ventilation will be a must. A wall fan or a table fan would be a great addition to any kitchen. Since a table fan might take up space, a wall fan is usually the preferred choice among home owners. It small enough that it can be installed on any side of the kitchen and it looks cool, adding more appeal to the wall. And let’s not forget, that in the summer and humid weathers, it is a life saver in the kitchen. One has to be careful when installing it though.

  7. These are just four tips to give your kitchen a new look. The list could go on but we decided to top off the most popular suggestions in this post. Implementing these in your kitchen design will not only make your kitchen look that much appealing but it will also rejuvenate you to spend more time there with your family and friends. It can easily become the most active place in your custom built house.
