      • Originally means ’to feel shy’不好意思说, 不好意思吃

      • Currently, used to express apology

        • 不好意思, 我们没有咖啡

    • 这两天:

      • the last few days

    • 问...好:

      • greet somebody

    • 你住的宿舍: the dorm where you live

      • 的 must be placed after the verb, before the noun to be modified

    • 我们留学生楼两个人住一间

      • Note the order of the phrases, very different from English!
