  2. How Is Silver Effect Created? Finishing with silver foil simply uses the right light-reflecting foil. First, the substratum is covered with a coat of UV varnish, and the silver foil is then put on top of it. Only the areas coated with the varnish will adhere to the foil. This technique gives text and logos a silver shimmer. To do this, you must enter specific colour swatch information for the print shop in your artwork and highlight the design elements you want the silver foil to be applied to. Nothing in print, like foil stamping, says "elegance," but what exactly is it? Foil stamping, hot stamping or hot foil stamping is using pressure and a heated die to apply pigmented or metallic foil to paper. The die presses the foil under pressure on the surface and leaves the die design on the paper. Foil stamping, or foil printing, is often combined with embossing to create a 3D image. You've probably seen that effect on vacation cards, wedding invitations, and certificates. There are so many ways to put your print apart from the crowd using foil stamping.
