Spiritual Leadership. Spiritual Leaders are Qualified by the Holy Spirit. Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. Acts 20:28 NASB.

  2. Spiritual Leaders are Qualified by the Holy Spirit Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. Acts 20:28 NASB

  3. Spiritual Leaders have a Spiritual Assignment It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables… But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”  Acts 6:2, 4

  4. Spiritual Leaders are Elders • PRESBUTEROS – Elder • This word denotes the dignity and maturity of those who serve in this ministry.

  5. Spiritual Leaders are Overseers / Bishops • EPISKIPOS – Overseer / Bishop • One charged with the duty of seeing that things to be done by others are done rightly, • A Curator, Guardian, or Superintendent

  6. Spiritual Leaders are Shepherds / Pastors • POIMEN – Shepherd / Pastor • One who cares for the flock.

  7. Spiritual Leaders So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherdthe flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you” 1 Peter 5:1-2
