  1. Rube Goldberg Design Lab Suggested procedures for lab completion.

  2. Criterion A Inquiring and Analyzing • 1) Defining the problem: Describe what your design problem is in a way that a visitor to this class can understand what it is that you will be doing for the next 6 Days, and what your problem solution must do to be successful. • Include at least 6 to 8 key points. BE SPECIFIC, AND ELABORATE.

  3. 2) Brainstorming: ways that you can incorporate 4 different types of Simple Machines, and 2 Core Technologies in to your Rube Goldberg Machine. • You will need 6 separate sketches, Titled and Labeled and with a step to step description. 1 sketch for each individual machine, and 1 for each core technology.(Mechanical, Structural, and Materials can not be used here)

  4. 3) Research: Watch rube goldberg videos, look at cartoons, and research ways that you can incorporate 2 Core Technologies(Electrical, Electronic, Fluid, Optical, Thermal) into you Rube Goldberg, in a way that they can dramatically increase your machine’s running time to complete its task, in a safe way. • Diagram, Print out, and site your resources.
