  2. Gods And Goddesses Religions are a major part of a person’s lifestyle, therefore the Egyptian gods meant everything to the Egyptians. The role of these gods changed repeatedly. So I’ll tell you the basics or I’ll be here forever. There’s Ra the first god king and the god of the sun. Also, Osiris who was the god of the dead and under world after Set killed him, and Anubis the god of funerals, and Nut the god of the sky, and Geb the god of the Earth, and their sons who were Osiris, Isis the goddess of magic and healing, Set an evil god and the god of darkness and confusion, Horus the god of war and the sky, and Nephthys a river goddess. There is also Ma’at who is order and chaos ( I forgot the name), The cat goddess Bastkilled the evil serpent Aphophis to end Chaos. Also the god Thoth the god of knowledge.

  3. Hieroglyphs Without hieroglyphs this Ancient civilization would have no words or language. Without hieroglyphs we would barley even have an idea of the artifacts we have found of this civilization. So here it goes. The sound of our letter Aais the symobol of an eagle. Bb is a foot. Cc or Kk is an basket. Dd is hand. Ee Ii or Yy are 2 strokes. Ff/ Vv is a viper. Gg is a jar. Hh is a house ( I think it’s a square spiral). Ee Ii or Yy is 1 reed. Jj is a cobra. Ll is a lion. Mm is a owl. Nn is water. Oo/ Uu/ Ww is a lasso. Pp is a door. Qq is a slope. Rr is a mouth. Ss/Zz is a belt. Tt is a loaf. The Th sound is a rope. Oo/ Uu/Ww is a chick, Xx is a basket and cloth. Ee Ii Yyis 2 reeds. Finally Zz is a cloth.
