Keynote, IMovie, Garage band • Children chose their own topic of inquiry this term. • Goal - To learn new Keyote, Imovie, Garageband, visual language, spelling, grammar, research, time management and self-assessment skills. • Criteria • Keynote slides are visually appealing to the viewer and in logical order • Spelling and grammer is correct • Information is relevant and specific • Images are dragged into appropriate template placement • Imovie is appropriate to topic/theme and has a self produced Garageband sound track • Garageband composition reflects the mood of the specific imovie topic/theme • Final presentation is converted to PowerPoint, compressed and uploaded to personal page on school Ultranet

Skills learned Typing, spelling/grammar check, research, scan, copy, paste, cut, drag, re-size, font, back- ground, inspector, transitions, media, media browser, manage time/files/folders, share, publish, compose, music genre, edit, slice, itunes, export, compress, upload, self assess against criteria, present.
