  2. The History of San Juan Bautista The founder was Father Femin Lasuen. The mission was near mission 12,2, 8,and 13.The mission was founded on June 24, 1797

  3. Daily Life Indians lived, worked, and farmed. The Padres started training the Indians. Their wives trained women how to cook, make candles, and other domestic skills.

  4. The mission of music. Special Features The kitchen was for their cooking. The church was for their praying. The garden was were the crops were grown. Oh and did you know the mission was on top of the San Andres Fault line?

  5. Historic Highlights The mission was sitting on the San Andres Fault line. And by 1803 there were 1,803 Indians living there! The mission was started by a group of leather jacket solders.

  6. Mission Today Does my mission still look the same? Yes, it does. My mission is also still being used. I hope you learned alot from this slide.
