Project Scope Review Columbia Central High School (BP 02) • Renovate new 7th/8th grade wing • New addition - Locker Rooms • Administration Renovation / Secure Entrance • Upgrade finishes and replace doors / windows throughout H.S. • New Architectural and Science lab casework • Upgrade Building HVAC and Controls • Upgrade Building Lighting, Fire Alarm, Electrical • Upgrade Technology • Sitework – athletics, parking, bus and parent drop off areas

Timeline • Bid Pack 02 – (high school) • Bid Documents Available Week of October 20, 2014 • Bids Due Week of November 17, 2014 • Bid Review / Post Bid Interviews to support 12/1/14 awards • Construction • 7th/8th Grade Wing 12/1/14 – 4/6/15 (Spring Break) • Locker Room Addition Start 3/30/15 • Remaining Building Start After School • All work Substantially Complete First Week September 2015 for School • Bid Pack 03 (Elementary and Middle School) • Start in some areas at spring break (april 2015) • Balance of work in summer 2015

Questions & Answers • Question: Will there be a local preference for the bids?  Answer: No, however the owner has the right to accept or reject any or all offers. • Question: Will plans and specifications be available at ABC Reproduction? Answer: Yes. Bid Docs can be reviewed on Granger FTP site. • Question: Will the mechanical package be one package (Plumbing/HVAC) or separate packages? Answer: Separate packages • Will this be a prevailing rate job? Answer: Yes • Will certified payroll be required?   Answer: Yes • Will a bid bond be required in the amount of 5% be required?   Answer: Yes • Will a performance bond be required?   Answer: Yes
