  2. Safety First • Breaching system can conduct electricity • Do not use in flammable atmosphere • Use proper personal protective equipment • Gasoline is explosive • Spinning motion produces torque

  3. System Set-Up

  4. System Set-Up Remove accessories from case Mount water collar to output shaft

  5. System Set-Up Copper washer prevents binding Select proper bit and thread onto spindle

  6. Starting Engine

  7. Starting Engine • Fill with gasoline • Open fuel valve at bottom of tank

  9. Starting Engine Close choke

  10. Starting Engine Throttle to half-open

  11. Starting Engine Switch ignition to ‘start’

  12. Starting Engine Pull handle until unit starts

  13. Coring Bits

  14. Coring Bits • Carbide Bit • Diamond Segment Bit

  15. Coring Bits • Cuts through concrete, masonry, stone, rebar • Must be cooled with water during cutting • Diamond Segment Bit

  16. Coring Bits • Cuts through wood, sheet metal, roofing material • Do NOT USE water during cutting with the carbide bit • Carbide Bit

  17. System Care

  18. System Care • Always use freshly-mixed fuel at 25:1 gasoline/oil ratio • Clean or replace fuel filter (inside fuel tank) after every 10 hours of operation Engine Maintenance

  19. System Care • Clean air filter (inside side cover) after every 10 hours of operation • Check spark plug for fouling • Change gear oil every 20 hours of operation Air Filter

  20. System Care • Inspect water collar for free motion, leaks around seals • After each use, spray a few drops of oil into the engine cylinder Water Collar

  21. System Care • Inspect and clean the bit with a wire brush • Check for roundness, dents, etc. • If diamond flakes are obscured, ‘dress’ the bit by drilling into a masonry block or asphalt • Inspect mounting threads • Diamond Segment Bit

  22. System Care • Inspect and clean the bit with a wire brush • Check for roundness, dents, etc. • Inspect mounting threads • Carbide Bit

  23. System Care Spray lubricant into the bit threads

  24. System Care Spare parts inventory furnished with system

  25. System Storage

  26. System Storage • Store system in case provided • Never store with fuel in system or case • Store in dry location not exposed to excess cold or heat
