Innovation MeasuresIn 2005, OCE programs : • Engaged 850 companies in collaborations • Generated $41 million investment in collaborative R&D • Supported the innovative work of over 2,600 researchers • Enabled the transfer of 900 highly-qualified personnel to knowledge-based businesses in Ontario

  7. Commercialization MeasuresIn the past 4 years: • Approximately 80 active technology licenses • 22 new companies started • $3.9 million seed investment, leveraged to $168m through VC and angel investment • More than 300 “knowledge based” jobs created
