  3. The important The student should be able to know more about question tags. The student have to know the rules of question tags . The student have to know how to make sentences by using question tags.

  7. What is “Question tags ”? Mini questions that we often put on the end of a sentence in spoken English ,and we use an auxiliary verb.

  8. The first work: The first work: • The aim: know more about question tags . • Questions: • How we form the question tags ? • What are the rules of question tags? • How we reply for question tags? • Attention: Each student has to work alone for a minute , then students have to work in pairs for (2) minutes, then they have to work in groups for (3) minutes.

  9. Student have to know that the time for showing what each group did is (4) minutes, by using power point

  10. The second work : Scientist's work (20)minutes. After finishing each work a student go out from her group to set on the round table for meeting scientists for (4) minutes . The showing of what groups achieve will be (3) minutes for each group .

  11. The third work: Each student should write a sentence using question tags for (5) minutes…

  12. The final work : Studying by playing games Each student suggest a game then all the students choose the suitable game , then playing it by using question tags… (5) minutes…

We must put here (was not there). • Karam plays the piano ,ــــــــــــــــــــــ? We must put here (does not he) Normally we use a negative question tag after a positive sentence …

  14. Exercises: Put the suitable question tags : • Ali should pass the exam,ــــــــــــــــــــــــ? • We visit Jarash every month,ـــــــــــــــــــــ? • There was a girl ,ـــــــــــــــــــــ?

  15. DISCUSSING THE SECOND RULE • Ahmed will not be late ,________? We must put (will he). • There was not a lot of traffic,__________? We must put (was there). • You have not got a car ,_________? We must put (have you). Normally we use a positive question tag after a negative sentence …

  16. Anther piece of rule • We use “did” if the tense is past simple . You did not lock the door , did you? You played football , did not you?

  17. We use "do, does” if the tense is present simple .we use “did” with plural, “does” with singular. We visit Jarash every month , do not we? She makes coffee, does not she ? They eat ice ـcream ,do not they ?

  18. After ( lets ) we put ** shall we ?** Lets go for a walk ,shall we? • After ( do not ) we put ** will you ?** Do not be late ,will you? • After ( I am ) we put ** are not I?** Iam right , are not I?

  19. HOW TO REPLY … We reply positive if the sentence is positive… For example : We are playing football after school , are not we? Yes, we are. We reply negative if the sentence is negative… For example : You do not work here ,do you? No I do not .
