IS A BOOK OF PEACE • “The way of peace” must be learned (Luke 1:79; Rom. 10:15) and lived in (2 Cor. 13:11). • Biblical Peace Does Not “Just Happen”!
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: PEACE • A. God’s peace is “not as the world gives” (John 14:27). • B. Peace with God necessitates conflict with Satan (Rom. 16:20; 1 Pet. 4:1). II. TRUE PEACE IS CENTERED IN GOD • C. Biblical peace in obeying God’s Word (Rom. 2:10-11; 3:16-17; 15:13).
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: PEACE • A. In times of trial & death (John 14:1-4). • B. In times of anxiety, etc. (Phil. 4:6-7, 8-9, 10-13). III. HEAVENLY PEACE REQUIRES FAITH • C. In times of sorrow & heartbreak (1 Cor. 7:12-15; Mt. 10:34-39).
