Activities 2011 - 2012 4 main activities for Kenyan companies throughout the programme: Analysis of each of your companies (CSR- and business-performance parameters) Development of individualaction plans with specific initiatives for each company and involvement of Danish business partner Seven2-day joint workshops for Kenyan companies with involvement of relevant experts (one workshop joint with Danish companies) Individual in-houseassistance with implementation of action plans in each Kenyan company

Action plans • The central document that will guide implementation of improvements identified during analysis • Will be developed by the SUSBIZ team and revised in collaboration with you and requires approval by you • Will be revised continually, reflecting progress in implementation as well as relevant adjustments

  10. In-house assistance • Follow on implementation of action plans • Consultancy on specific company-individual issues, that workshops will not address • Will be conducted with by the SUSBIZ team with assistance from a local expert

Measuring CSR performance Labour standards • Number of employee turnover in the last 3 months • Number of overtime hours in the last 3 months Health and safety • Total number of workdays or product units lost because of illness or injuries • Total number of accidents caused by lack of appropriate safety equipments and training Environment • Percentage of reduced materials per produced unit • Total weight of waste by type and disposal method Product quality and business performance • Number of products rejected and reworked in the last 3 months • Total growth rate for the last 3 months
