  2. Claim • It would be important to use the 10 billion dollars we have to find better cures for staph because staph infection has increased in the past several years.

  3. Evidence Staph infections are caused by staphylococcus bacteria, a type of germ commonly found on the skin or in the nose of even healthy individuals. staph infections can turn deadly if the bacteria invade deeper into your body, entering your bloodstream, joints, bones, lungs or heart.

  4. How to prevent it Any time you have a cut or skin breakdown, wash it with soap and water, keep it clean and dry, and keep it covered. Staph infection is contagious if the wound is weeping or draining and if people then share towels or other items that are contaminated. Wearing foot coverings in locker rooms and other commonly used areas can help prevent contamination.

  5. Symptoms Symptoms of this infection is difficulty breathing, fever, or chills. Usually filled with pus. The skin is red and swollen and its very painful For those people who do get an infection, the time from exposure to development of disease can be from days to years

  6. Treatment Antibiotics are used to treat staph infections. But there's been a gradual change in how well these antibiotics work. While most staph infections used to be treatable with penicillin, that changed in the 1980s and stronger antibiotics are now used.

  7. Surgery To help get rid of this infection we will provide surgery that will be paid for by us The surgery will be use to remove the infected areas of the body that have the staph infection

  8. TreatmentCenters With a part of our money we would like to invest in treatment centers for the patients who are infected with the staph infection The patients at the treatment centers will be provided with stronger antibiotics This would help prevent the spread of staph because this infection wont spread to healthy people since it will be in a contained area and the patients will only be around other patients that are infected with staph

  9. Cannabis Cannabis science Inc. has report on the current state of research into the use of natural plant cannabis to reduce the spread of drugs resistant bacteria, including methicillin resistant staph aureus (MRSA) and the prospects for development of typical whole cannabis treatment

  10. How it may occur Most MRSA infections occur in people who have been in hospitals or other health care settings, such as nursing homes and dialysis centers. When it occurs in these settings, it's known as health care-associated MRSA . HA-MRSA infections are associated with invasive procedures or devices, such as surgeries, intravenous tubing or artificial joints.
