  1. Living water fall series the 9fruit of the Spirit! Act 3:19 "Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

  2. AD 2011 How to prepare for the days ahead…

  3. Those in the 'know' say we are headed for some difficult times in 2011…Yet we do not fear

  4. Mat 6:31 "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?' 32 "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

  5. Jas 4:13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit." 14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 Instead, you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that."

  6. It is now, that our peace, our hope, our joy must be in the Lord!It must not be on possessions…

  7. Luk 12:34 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luk 12:35 "Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit.

  8. We have been talking about the best two ways to prepare…Put on the armor of GodHave the Fruit of the SpiritLet’s look at some other ways God wants us to prepare…

  9. Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; Heb 10:24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, Heb 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

  10. Matthew 25:1-4 10 virgins go out to meet the bridegroom Don’t know time of his arrival (They do know the day) 5 take extra oil (in case he is late) 5 take no extra (assuming he will come soon) Matthew 25:5 Bridegroom waited until the midnight hour Virgins fell asleep, their lamps were still lit The Parable of the 10 Virgins

  11. Matthew 25:6-7 At midnight the Bridegroom’s approach is announced Lamps are trimmed to make them brighter for the approaching groom Matthew 25:8-9 All the lamps would have been low on oil 5 use their extra oil to refill their lamps – they were prepared 5 want the others to share – they thought they didn’t need to prepare Still no certainty how long until the groom comes or enters the feasting hall The wise might need all the oil they had, so they Tell the foolish to run buy some more oil The Parable of the 10 Virgins

  12. Matthew 25:10 The groom arrives, quickly enters the wedding feast The door is shut while the foolish are still gone Matthew 25:11-12 The 5 foolish virgins arrive later and seek entry Not allowed entry Matthew 25:13 Be ready, be prepared, to endure to the midnight hour – have provisions! The Parable of the 10 Virgins

  13. 2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. • 2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief

  14. We will see the signs and know the season the Lord will return. We need to get ready to endure to the midnight hour Extra Oil – two meanings:-literal – Have supplies enough to last Luk 22:35 And He said to them, "When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?" They said, "No, nothing." Luk 22:36 And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one. -figurative – Be filled with the Holy Spirit

  15. Act 1:6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?" Act 1:7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; Act 1:8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." Extra Oil

  16. Mat 24:10 "At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. • Mat 24:11 "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. • Mat 24:12 "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. • Mat 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. • Mat 24:14 "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

  17. Many will fall away… • In the year ahead, we will see the divide between the real Church and the apostate church grow even more. • We already see it;Ordaining womenOrdaining homosexualsTickling ears, etc.

  18. Conservative way Modern Crisis N.T. church Liberal way

  20. Increasing Polarization Conservative way N.T. church Modern Crisis Liberal way

  21. Conservative way Modern Crisis Liberal way Narrow Path Ecumenical compromise Liberal Orthodoxy

  22. We will see the church polarize into two groups: The Remnant The Apostate

  23. Conservative way Liberal way Narrow Path Remnant Persecution Ecumenical compromise Apostate Liberal ‘Orthodoxy’

  24. The Apostasy does not happen until… • Mat 24:9 "Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. • Mat 24:10 "At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. • Mat 24:11 "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. • Mat 24:12 "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold. • Mat 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

  25. Mic 7:5 Do not trust in a neighbor; Do not have confidence in a friend. From her who lies in your bosom Guard your lips. Mic 7:6 For son treats father contemptuously, Daughter rises up against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man's enemies are the men of his own household. Mic 7:7 But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Mar 13:12 "Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. Mar 13:13 "You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. Mat 10:21 "Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. Mat 10:22 "You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. Mat 10:23 "But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

  26. Luk 21:16 "But you will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death, Luk 21:17 and you will be hated by all because of My name. Luk 21:18 "Yet not a hair of your head will perish.

  27. So what do we need to know as a Church and believers for the days ahead? • God gives us clear signs and clear direction. • We are going to go over exactly what the Bible says about the Remnant Bride of Christ as she prepares for the wedding feast (the rapture) and prepares to endure to the midnight hour. • Truly, the signs are all around us…

  28. What are we in for in Our Children being taught that the Bible is fiction and it teaches intolerance and hate… 2011 Terrorism Earthquakes Persecution Gay agenda legalized Economic Decline Truth thrown down Wars & rumors of wars

  29. Mat 16:3 "And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?

  30. HOW IMPORTANT IS IT FOR YOU TO KNOW THE WEATHER FORECAST?

  31. WEATHER FORECAST TELLS US: HOW TO DRESS WHAT YOU WILL DO WHERE YOU WILL DRIVE WHAT YOU NEED TO PREPARE FOR THE DAY WEATHER AFFECTS ALL AREAS OF YOUR LIFE WHAT ABOUT THE SPIRITUAL CLIMATE?

  32. Nebraska We had STORM shelters We had provisions We were ready…

  33. If you know a storm is approaching…You get readyIn some states you boardup windowsIn some states you havea storm cellarYou don’t just do nothing!

  34. 2Pe 3:3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts. 2Ti 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. Mat 10:22 "You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. Mat 5:11 "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Mat 5:12 "Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Jam 5:8 You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. Jam 5:9 Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door. Jam 5:10 As an example, brethren, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Jam 5:11 We count those blessed who endured. The signs are truly yelling, 'wake up'…

  35. Eph 5:14 For this reason it says, "Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you." • Eph 5:15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, • Eph 5:16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil.

  36. Rom 13:11 Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. • Rom 13:12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

  37. Mat 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. Mat 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; Mat 5:15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Mat 5:16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. As darkness increases we need to shine brighter!

  38. The book of Revelation (The unveiling) • Verse 3, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear • the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which • are written therein: for the time is at hand.” • THREE-FOLD BLESSING • 1. “BLESSED IS HE WHO READS” • I Timothy 4:13, “Give attention to reading, to • exhortation, and to doctrine.”

  39. “BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HEAR” • “Blessed is he who reads” • 2.“Blessed are those who hear” • 3. “Blessed are those who keep • those things which are written • therein”

  40. 3. “BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO KEEP(Guard against) • THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE • WRITTEN THEREIN” • James 1:22, “But be ye doers of the Word, and not • hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” • It is not enough to just read the Word • It is not enough to just listen to the Word • We must obey the Word

  41. Luke 21:29He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.  32"I tell you the truth, this generation[b] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. What things? Next week we will see!

  42. 1Pe 4:7 The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. How do we know the ‘end of all things is near’? Next week, we will go over all the signs! Bring a notepad and your Bible – this is information you will to want to share! We need to be people of prayer!
