  1. Ethos: Eric Schlosser is a correspondent for The Atlantic Monthly. He has received a number of journalistic honors, including a National Magazine Award for an Atlantic article he wrote about marijuana and the war on drugs. This is his first book. The Atlantic Monthly is a highly renowned news company. In this book the author provides plenty of examples and stories that help show Schlosser is very informed on the topic. He studied American History at Princeton University and earned a graduate degree in British Imperial History from Oxford. His work has received positive reviews from across the political spectrum. William F. Buckley gave Reefer Madness, as did BusinessWeek and The Financial Times. Fortune called Fast Food Nation the “Best Business Book of the Year” in 2001. He won the Sidney Hillman Foundation award for his article, “In the Strawberry Fields”. Schlosser work has appeared in Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Nation. Schlosser is considered one of the most reputable names in journalism.
