  4. Elephant-Trunk hill(象鼻山) . Between the elephant’s trunk and the body is a big round hole , The most impressive is said to the water reflection of a moon like cave when the moonlight sprinkles over the river , hence its name “Water Moon Cave”. （水月洞） .

The reed flute cava （芦笛岩） It is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and is filled with a large number of stalactites（钟乳石）,stalagmites（石笋） and rock formations in weird and wonderfulshapes.The cave got its name from the type of reed growing outside，which can be made into melodious flute。 It is honoured as “the nature palace of art”。

  12. 讲稿 • “East or west,,Guilin landscape is best!”Guilin located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Aoutonomous Region in south China.It’s famous with its beautiful mountains and rivers.We will go to Guilin for a 3-day travel. • The first day ,we can visit scenery in Guilin.Elephant-Trunk hill,the hill resembles an elephant sucking water from the river with its long trunk. It is supposed to be the land mark of guilin landscape. On the cliff there are more than 50 pieces of carved inscription belong to diffrerent periods. Elephant-Trunk hil is supposed to be the landmark and symbol of Guilin landscape • The reed flute cava. Reed flute grotto deep 240 meters, tourist itinerary 500 meters。It is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and is filled with a large number of stalactites，stalagmites and rock formations in weird and wonderful shapes。The cave got its name from the type of reed growing outside，which can be made into melodious flute。It is honoured as “the nature palace of art”。 • In the evening ,we can visit the two rivers and four lakes around the city. • The second day ,we will visit Li River.The Li River is one of China’s top tourist destinations and attracts thousands of visitors both from home and aborad ,it is famous for its uniqe beauty of four characteristics:verdang mountains,crystal-clear water,mysterious caces,and exquisite rocks.we can take bamboo raft or boat along the river,and enjoy the beartiful views on the both sides leisurely.This is The nine horse painting mountains,it is said that person who can count all the horses in it is a talent.How many horses can you count? The picture in 20 yuan is from here.You can enjoy another sight in rainy day.Like Chinese painting .When finishing the river cruise ,we will go to the West Street.It’s an old street with a history of 1400 years.just 517meters.Now it’s a buseiness street and is called the global village.There are many foreigners.Besides the local accent of yangshuo ,English has become the language for daily use.Every store there has bilingual shop signs and many stores are opened by foreigners who have settled there.so you can find various styles of food from all over the world there.If we have time we can visit the musical show Impession Liu Sanjie • The third day,we will go to The Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces,The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop,they were first buuit in Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by Zhuang people. • Guilin rice noodle is the best delicious snack you should eat there.
