National Collaborations PAC– NIAC – Transforming Adolescent Catechesis pilot programs in Orlando, Washington, DC, Grand Rapids, Michigan (August) and possibly Providence Rhode Island (Fall). *Applied for a major grant *Conducted a Pre-conference in January *Contact Ela Milewska for more information or to get on the 2013 calendar.http://adolescentcatechesis.org/

National Collaborations ACLEM – ALLIANCE for the Certification of Lay Ecclesial Ministers *Received seven year approval from USCCB/CCA for standards AND a certification process. *Have received eight applications for Admission to the Certification Process – some appear incomplete *Ken Gleason serves on the Alliance Board along with the Ex. Dir. and as the NCCL Rep on the NCRC

  7. National Collaborations In addition to seven NCCL representatives, 32 other attendees were also NCCL members.

National Collaborations National Symposium on Lay Ecclesial Ministry *advocate for the implementation of ACLEM *Achieve/teach intercultural competency *Theological reflection on the vocation and mission of a LEM, providing feedback through a structured dialogue (Rep Council) *SJU Collegeville offers five full tuition scholarships in 2012, 2013 and in 2014.

National Collaborations Strong Catholic Families, Strong Catholic Youth • Over 50 diocese are participating • Develop brief videos aimed at promoting SCF to pastors/parish leaders and another to parents • Redesigning Parent to Parish Response Form. • Effective Practice Digests grows to met the needs of participants.

National Collaborations Strong Catholic Families, Strong Catholic Youth • Four Step Parish Process – The current “three step” parish process will be revised to four steps to include a first step of “Parish Assessment/Readiness”. • Leadership Resources – Print piece in development • Develop a shortened ppt version (15-20 minutes) of the Parish Leader Session.

  12. Small Successes • Published Doing Great Ministry with Less, it will soon be available as an eBook. • Increased sales through the NCCL Amazon Bookstore - $326.43 in 10 months • CL Weekly has had a consistent record – 261 issues • Committee work and participation grows in work completed
