  1. Fireworks can be Dangerous!! Uh oh!!!!! • Never set off a firework in a house. • Children under the age of 5 should not use sparklers. • If you drop your sparkler don’t pick it up.

  2. Why Do We Celebrate Bonfire Night is held in Britain on 5th November. It celebrates the defeat of a conspiracy to blow up the Houses of Parliament with the then king, James I, in it. Bonfire Night is celebrated with bonfires and fireworks.

  3. Who Was Guy Fawkes? His father died when Fawkes was eight in 1578 and his mother lived as a widow for nine years. She re-married in 1587 and both she and Guy went to live in the village of Scotton, about 20 miles from York. Here Guy was heavily influenced by his step-father and it was his step-father who was very important in Guy's conversion to Catholicism. Fact: Fireworks contain gun powder which iswhat we use in guns tanks and other weapons.
