  2. The squake can get up to 11 feet long Squake= squid + snake The squake has a snake head on each of its longest. tentacles. The squake swims though the dark depths of the ocean

  3. Appearance and structure The snake head at the end of its longer tentacles may look small but they are very poisonous. The squake has a loose exoskeleton that can harden at the sight of danger

  4. Binomial nomenclature • Scientific name • Architeuthis sirtalis • Common name • squake

  5. diet • The Squake is 100% carnivore • It dines on almost any creature it comes across because the food is scarce down there. • Its favorite food is the sleeper shark: • The squake’s only rival is the nargle. • (contributed by Robbie Cohen) • The squake attacks the sleeper shark by grabbing on with its many tentacles and strikes many times with its poisonous snake heads. • The poison in the snake heads is very peculiar, it makes you giddy, happy almost , to die.

  6. The food web nargle squake phytoplankton sardines Bluefin zooplankton Sleeper shark

  7. Energy pyramid The squake is a fifth consumer squake Quaternary consumer Sleeper shark Tertiary consumer Bluefin Secondary consumer sardines Primary consumer zooplankton Primary producer phytoplankton

  8. habitat • The squake has no predators, but one of its rivals is the nargle, a narwhal eagle, they mate at the same time as the squakes so they call a truce during that time. This is a mutualism • The squake lives in the deep ocean alone for most of its life, but once in every squake’s lifetime, they mate

  9. Life cycle baby egg youth adult death The squake starts to develops snake heads at the end of its tentacles near adulthood . The squake is cold blooded

  10. sensing • Sight • Touch • Taste • And sixth sense (it allows it to sense electromagnetic activity) • The squake has many senses but maybe not as many as us humans.

  11. Communication and survival • This animal communicates with others by viciously attacking them. They do not need much space in their territory , but in what little space they have, when it is invaded it viciously mauls the intruder. • Although it lives very deep in the ocean even humans can intervene. The squake adapts quickly but its silky skin is worth very much on land and is used as armor.
