  1. Why I Became A Brisbane Commercial Landscaper When I told my family that I was considering becoming a Brisbane commercial landscaper, there were several people who tried to convince me against it. They were of the opinion that this was not a job where there would be a great future. They told me that I would have to spend long hours under the hot sun and that I would constantly have to get my hands dirty, literally! But I knew that my mind was made up and that I was going to do this –after all, who doesn’t want a job where you get to be creative and then get paid for it too! Although I had the choice of becoming a Brisbane industrial landscaper, I chose to work with homes and small offices, because I wanted to unleash my creative side each time. With industrial designs, you are often bound, because there tend to be some restrictions; for instance, if you are designing a park, you will have to abide by certain rules, but with homes, there is so much more you can do. My very first project was for a family who had three kids – I immediately knew that I would have to create a special area where the kids could play, which is why I gave them one corner with swings and slides. I also created a patio, where the parents could sit and watch their kids, while sipping a cup of tea and also added a Brisbane sandstone boulder wall, to offer terracing and a greater amount of safety.
