Conclusions • Glucose status and arterial distensibility are independently associated with more severe LV diastolic dysfunction 8 years later and with deterioration of LV diastolic dysfunction • Type 2 diabetes and arterial stiffness may relate to LV diastolic dysfunction through different pathways van den Hurk K et al.
