It also stores all of your training data, keeps track of total calories burned, uses maps, times, and is a distance calculator. APPS related to health and P.E.

Some technology that is being integrated into physical activities in classrooms are: • Accelerometers- A device that is used for the measuring rate of acceleration. • Pedometers- A device that counts the number of steps one takes. • Spirometers- A device that is used to measure long volume. Exergaming- video games that provide physical activity or exercises through interactive play. • As it does not provide as much activity or effort as a true sport, it does help provoke children interest in staying active. • Some examples of exergaming are: • Nintendo Wii • Dance Dance Revolution • Xbox Kinect Exergaming

There are three different sections to the site: Parents site, educators site, kids site, and teen site • Each site has it’s own specific information and material to meet the needs of the designated group. • Gives advice, answers to commonly asked questions, health information, and much more.
