  13. Step 1: Log into the MyMocsNet portal from www.utc.edu.

  14. ***Important Notice for New Students***New students cannot complete the UTC Online Scholarship Application until you are fully admitted to the University. Your UTC ID will be provided on your Acceptance letter from Admissions. Please enter ONLY your UTC ID, then click the Help Logging In option to set your password for the first time.

  15. Step 2: Go to the Money Tab to locate the quick link for the UTC Scholarship Application.

  16. Step 3: After reading each description, complete the application that applies to you –Please Note: You should only complete ONE application.

  17. Step 4: Review your scholarship application in its entirety before you hit the submit button. Changes cannot be made after the application is submitted. This application has not been submitted yet!

  18. This information will be at the bottom of the application page. You must hit !

  19. You must press OK in order to submit the application. You will receive this message before you submit your application. This is your last chance to review your answers.

  20. Step 5: Success! Your application has been submitted!

Academic Service—4 year award • Separate mini-appl within scholarship appl • Qualifications—3.0 & record of community service • Students receive $4200 scholarship/must work on campus 125 hours per semester • 3 Steps/write letter of interest, provide 3 references, References must complete online questionnaire by Feb. 15, 2015

  24. Brock Scholars Program • Information sessions—9/22, 9/27 & info session at FVD/Nov. 1st, other dates by appt. • Separate application—December 1, 2014 • New Honors College established • More opportunities for honors-level study for all students

  25. Appeal process • Student must submit appeal form and answer 3 questions • Reviewed Faculty committee—presentation, punctuation are important • Committee meets once a month to review • Review time frame—6 weeks • GPA, test score changes—can reverse decision • Chancellor final appeal
