  1. Club Nexus Getting Started Loading Nexus And Creating your Avatar

  2. Nexus software needs to be installed on a computer which: • must be a PC running Windows; • is reasonably modern (under 3 yrs old); • has broadband access to the internet. And because you can talk to people on Nexus, you might want a headset (headphones with a microphone). Do you have a suitable computer?

  3. Download it from the Nexus site in the Vzone of the Portal. • It may take a while (120Mb). • www.pgfl.org.uk/schools/vz/nexus • Ask your teacher if they have a disk. (mention there is a news item on this on their Staff Portal). Ways to get the Nexus software

  4. Run the download or application file on the disk • If there is any problem, run a Windows Update from the Control Panel (Start>Control Panel>Windows Update), then try again. Install Nexus

  5. Plug in your headset first (if you have one) • Double click ‘Nexus Virtual World’ • Login using your Portal account • Arrive in Nexus! Run Nexus
