  2. Size of Betelgeuse • Betelgeuse is one of the Biggest stars in our solar system. It is 700 million miles in Diameter. It is more than 700 million times bigger than the sun. The sun is only 800 thousand miles in diameter.

  3. Temperature of Betelgeuse • The temperature of Betelgeuse is 6000 degrees. The temperature of the sun is 10000 degrees . That means that Betelgeuse is really hot since it is not considered a sun.

  4. Color of Betelgeuse • The color of Betelgeuse is yellow and orange. It is that color because of the heat in the middle of the star. The color of the sun is all yellow due to the same reason

  5. Betelgeuse distance from the sun Betelgeuse's distance from the sun is 570 light years away. It would take us thousands of years to travel to Betelgeuse from earth. 5,865,696,000,000 miles = 1 light year

  6. Betelgeuse on a H-R diagram

  7. Betelgeuse in its constalation

  8. The life cycle of betelgeuse • Betelgeuse was born in the nebula constellation of Orion when it was made by dust partials hydrogen and helium • When Betelgeuse dies it will become a super nova. • Betelgeuse in in a stage called the hydrogen burning stage.
