Our company is committed on importing high quality wine at reasonable costs from the wine regions of Italy. At the present time we only represent these wines in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Some of these wines may not be available in all areas.

Where the terrain consists of a flat peninsula, the climate is quite hot yet mediated by breezes that blow in from the Adriatic and Ionian seas. The traditional wines of this area are the powerful inky reds made from Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera but Apulia boast the largest array of varietals in the south. AVD was founded in 1999 by recognizing the untapped potential for fine winemaking in the region and began skillfully utilizing its resources. This young energetic New World company with traditional Old World methods and techniques began utilizing the grapes grown in Puglia to produce premium, quality wine for both national and international markets.
