New volunteers are recruited and complete the process to become a leader in a week. Volunteers receive the support they need when they need it. Girl and volunteer retention is on the rise. Leader Support and Mentoring Team • Develop: • Mentoring plan that can be deployed consistently council-wide • Transition plan to provide support for new leaders • Consistent tool to engage volunteers • Establish a culture of sister troops/adopt a troop • Mentor list integrated into Welcome Sessions • Explore integration of mentor program with Salesforce to recruit and retain new leaders

  12. Funded Projects Team Maximize grant funding to establish Girl Scouting in communities where it is not prevalent. Increase girls and adults from underserved communities, with Latinas being primary. Develop transition process from staff to volunteer led troop and service unit inclusion. Maintain high quality GSLE while developing product sales in the outreach environment.

Service Unit Development • Develop a consistent service unit purpose and structure that aligns with the support provided through the new volunteer systems and toolkit. • Develop a service unit model that meets the needs of today’s troop leaders and builds upon the strengths that exist within our current model. • Bring clarity and focus to service units that aligns with new Volunteer Systems.Further define service unit leadership processes including roles, selection, evaluation and re-appointment. • Establish the best staff support for the growth and sustainability of service units.Identify the key ways service units support a troop leader’s experience

Member Care Team • Collect, evaluate and assess current member support systems. • Create member care work plans that best align to council capacity and functional responsibilities. • Develop new business process and workflow to support member inquiry. • Assess council productivity for case resolution and response time. • Create business process for development and approval of future case solutions. • Develop staff training and materials for member care software and work processes.
