  3. Grading Major Assessments (Projects) 50% Minor Assessments 50% Class Participation 25% Journal (Homework, Classwork) 25%

  4. Expectations and Rules No Food or Drinks (Water is ok) No Cell Phones in site ever (especially when I am talking!) As seniors (most of you) I expect that you will be mature and capable of handling some very serious topics, never make jokes or insensitive comments that may upset your classmates or me

  5. Things you should be prepared for: Discussing religion and politics Reading and viewing some disturbing material Participating in class discussion Public Speaking, you will give numerous presentations in front of the class throughout the semester
