The notebook is divided into TWO sections.

Left Side-Right Side: WHICH SIDE?

  • The Left SIDE “LOVES” student work. This is the side that you can use to show me your creativity. This is the “output” or product side.
  • The Right side is “RESTRICTED” and contains only information given by Ms. Krenecki. Nothing else should be placed on the RIGHT SIDE!!

- A RAP is a response to a question or statement that either helps you review what we learned in previous lessons or previews what we are about to learn.

Work it out

  • A work it out is when you take difficult concepts from your input side and “work out” their meaning on the left hand side of your notebook.
  • That means you have to look at your right hand side notes in order to complete the work it out.

- A journal response is a time for you to voice your opinion about what we are learning. I will ask you a question and you will write a one page response expressing your opinion.

"Always update your table of contents so papers don\'t get messed up - or in case of an ISN check.“

"An ISN is a great tool, keep it organized!“

"Don\'t leave your ISN until the last day, otherwise you may be up to the early morning hours finishing assignments.“
