  2. Conociéndonos……. • Sitúa las Islas Canarias en el menor “rectángulo” cuyos lados estén en meridianos y paralelos. • Las coordenadas geográficas de Sevilla son, aproximadamente, 37º 24’ N 6º O. Si viviéramos en un plano, ¿qué distancia nos separa de la isla de Gran Canaria en línea “recta”? Recuerda la definición clásica de metro: Diezmillonésima parte del cuadrante del meridiano terrestre. 90º ~ 10 000 000 metros = 10 000 Km  1º ~ 111’11 Km; 1’ ~ 1’85 Km
