  • Modular

    • 9 different units taken over two years

    • Each unit passed is worth credits

    • The total number of credits at the end of Year 11 gives final grading

  • NO EXAMS!

  • They will be expected to:

    • Work safely within a workshop environment

    • Follow procedures

    • Interpret engineering information

    • Identify correct materials for particular jobs

    • Control manufacturing operations

    • Produce engineering drawings using CAD
