  6. ACADEMIC PROGRAM • Team Concept for Grade 6 students in Math, Writing Workshop, Language Arts, Geography, and Science • Physical Education/Health • Students will change for PE class • Students will be assigned a gym locker • World Language (French, Italian, Spanish)

  7. DAILY SCHEDULE Exploratory Cycle, World Language, & Physical Education • Period 1 – 8:10-8:57 • Period 2 – 9:00-9:42

  9. DAILY SCHEDULE Core Subject Classes on the Team • Period 3 – 9:45-10:27 • Period 4 – 10:30-11:12 • Period 5 – 11:15-11:57 • Period 6 – 12:00-12:42 • Lunch – 12:45-1:12 • Period 7 – 1:15-1:57 • Period 8 – 2:00-2:24

  12. GRADING • 90-100 – Excellent (A) • 80-90 – Good (B) • 70-79 – Satisfactory (C) • 60-69 – Poor (D) • Below 60 – Failure (E) • I = Incomplete • H = Health (Medically) Excused

  13. Report Cards & Interim Reports • Report Cards are mailed home four times a year at the end of each marking period • Interim Reports mailed home four times a year at the mid-marking period point

  14. HONOR ROLL • Distinguished Honor Roll – A grade of 90 or better in all content areas. • Honor Roll – A grade of 80 or better in major content areas and a 70 or better in exploratory classes.
