  10. LVL1 rate/eff vs -threshold Dijet (weighted J1&J2 samples) Dijet (weighted J1&J2 samples) Higgs 130 GeV, had-had and lep-had weighted by BR

  11. LVL2 efficiency • If LVL2 requirements are applied only to events passing LVL1: OLDNEW • dijet1: 1-4 evts/16k 10.8% 22% ± 10% • dijet2: 20-120 / 19k 7.4% 16% ± 2.3% • dijet3: 40-150 / 18k 5.6% 18% ± 1.9% • dijet4: 10-90 / 13k 5.4% 20% ± 2.9% • dijet5: 15-120 / 17k 4.3% 19% ± 2.3% • dijet6: 10-110 / 18k 2.8% 13% ± 1.8% • dijet7: 5-60 / 7k 2.7% 13% ± 2.6% • dijet8: 5-50 / 8k 2.3% 11% ± 2.1% • Lep-had: 25.2% 49% ± ~1% • Had-had: 39.5% 89% ± ~1% • Our previous scheme was overestimating the dijet rejection (and underestimating sigal acept.) 20% ± 2.6%

  12. Dijet Efficiency/Rate out of LVL2 Dijet 1-8 added according to cross-section. For Dijet1, used eff derived from csc dijet samples (thanks Erik!) - 180k events

  13. Signal Efficiency • Trigger about 25% of Higgs events

  14. Conclusions • Estimated signal/dijet efficiencies in a consistent manner: • Same code run over both samples • L2 applied to events passing L1 • Will look at forward jets (thanks Anton!)

  15. Other Info • Signal cone:R=0.07 • Inner cone:R=0.1 • Outer cone:R=0.4 • Pt(track)>5.0 • Et-thresh=25.GeV • Tau-thresh=15GeV • Scenario1: <=4 && 0 • Scenario2: <=3 && 0 • Scenario3: <=3 && <=1 • Scenario4: <=2 && 0 • Scenario5: <=2 && <=1 • Scenario6: <=2 && <=2 • Scenario7: <=1 && 0 • Scenario8: <=1 && <=1 • Scenario9: <=1 && <=2

  16. Dijet Efficiency/Rate out of LVL2

  17. Signal Et(jet) Into LVL1 Out of LVL2

  18. Dijet Et(jet) spectra

  19. Dijet Et spectra (cont’d)
