  7. In a world increasingly shaped by the interoperability of an Apple and Google experience and by information “push”, how can catalog data be made to feel like a comfortable beach or safe cove in the information stream rather than a formidable and inaccessible cliff?

  8. What the ILS did to bring together disparate files and functions for library staff, the future catalog and its infrastructure should do for the user with respect to the multitude of information resources and venues.
