  1. Being Safe Is The Number Priority for Humans Being Safe is the #1 priority for humans. Growing money and getting rich are not priorities to the human brain; but that doesn’t mean you cannot be rich and grow money. It just means you don’t want to look to your own brain for the answer(s). This means you will want to look to proven strategies to grow and protect your money. The Human Brain Does Not Understand “Growing Money” The human brain does not understand ‘growing money’…and it doesn’t need to. 10,000 years ago, on the plains of Africa, after the buffalo was killed, it was not grown. The idea of growing money was not introduced to humans as a collective group until 1980, with the invention of the 401(k). So the previous 130,000 years of evolution didn’t involve anything to do with growing money. Being in Crowds Feels Safe Sticking with the crowd feels safer. It feels safer for a human to stick with the crowd, even if the crowd is losing money, than to actually step away from the crowd and grow money differently. Doing something different from the crowd would actually show up as being scary and risky to the human brain, and that is why humans don’t do that. The Human Brain Is REALLY Bad At Accounting The human brain is really bad at accounting. Because the idea of money is new to humans, the human brain has a really hard time doing accounting. The human brain has so many biases set against it in regards to money that it is better to assume the human brain is making assumptions that just aren’t true even if they “feel” true. The Brain is Designed to Hunt The human brain is designed to hunt for food/find shelter/stay warm. Since humans don’t really have to hunt for food anymore, this hunting has been replaced with the feeling of hunting for stocks or investment opportunities. And like 10,000 years ago, the hunt shows up as more important to the brain then the actual kill. This has translated into people hunting for investments but not actually growing and protecting their money, which again is completely brand new to human brains.
