  48. Lessons Learned- $400 DEPENDABLE Dear Parent, Your child has been selected to represent Swansboro Elementary in a very prestigious position. He/she has been chosen as a 2011 - 2012 Safety Patrol. This is a top honor and only the best students are allowed to participate. Character, integrity and good grades are important attributes when choosing someone to uphold the rules of our school. One of the most important duties of a safety patrol officer is maintaining order and safety while on duty. This means being at your post at the right time and paying close attention to the job at hand.  Good attendance, few tardies and zero conduct marks are also helpful in making sure you are prepared for your job. Please discuss this with your child and remind him/her that a Safety Patrol is someone who should be admired and other children will want to emulate their behavior.
