Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) • CCIR are elements of information required by commanders that directly affect decision making and dictate the successful execution of military operations • CCIR result from the analysis of information requirements against a mission and commander’s intent, and are limited in number • CCIR consist of PIR, FFIR and EEFI

  2. CTF Meng Rai Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) • Daily status of DP camps - mortality rates, disease rates, crime rates, occupancy rates • Daily numbers of DPs crossing at Border Control Points into CTF COA • Any known or suspected attacks, acts of terrorism or targeting of CTF or NGO/IGO personnel • Any known or suspected drug trafficking in the COA • Spread of disease epidemic outside of DP camps into local Thai communities

CTF Meng Rai Friendly Forces Information Requirements (FFIR) • Any fratricide incident • Significant collateral damage to Thai facilities/buildings/landmarks • Any losses/activities that jeopardize CTF mission accomplishment • Change in MSC status from Green to Amber; Amber to Red; Red to Black (and reverse) • Loss/death of CTF or NGO/IGO personnel • CTF unit arrivals in Thailand and in the COA • Repair status of critical infrastructure and emergency services (roads, bridges, power) • Occupancy rates of CTF military hospitals

  4. CTF Meng Rai Essential Elements of Friendly Information (EEFI) • Location of CTF C2 nodes • CTF tactical/operational plans • Relief convoy/distribution plans • Specific Rules of Engagement • CTF future operations plans • Location/composition/commitment of CTF Quick Reaction Force
