  5. Using a pad saw the arch was carefully cut out ACA D Winchester

  6. Plasterboards have been fixed to the inside of the arch A coat of thistle bonding has been applied to level up the board, and marry into exiting plaster surface Thin coat beads fitted to the arris ACA D Winchester

  15. Running the styles Relocate the angle mould on the finished section When the mould is located fix the running rule with drywall screws Then plumb down the rule and fix ACA D Winchester

  16. Twin slipper mould • Alterations have been to the angle mould • The gig stick has been removed, and a second slipper has been added • This will give the mould stability for running up the rule ACA D Winchester

  17. The gig stick has been removed, and a second slipper has been added To gauge the distance between the slippers a piece of the running rule has been used ACA D Winchester

  19. Again the mould is built up with three coats of plaster • The mould is run up and down the running rule ACA D Winchester

  20. When the mould is run • The running rule is removed • The joint at the spring line is worked with a small tool and joint rule ACA D Winchester

  21. The same process is repeated on the other style ACA D Winchester
