  2. Psalm 67:3 • May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.

  3. In His Model Prayer: • Jesus began: “Our Father…” • Rich history of praise and adoration behind that phrase. • Adoration for the majesty of God • When we pray, we must recognize the exalted nature of our Heavenly Father

  4. Recognize God’s Transcendence • Job 10:4-5 – “Do you have eyes of flesh? Do you see as a mortal sees? Are your days like those of a mortal or your years like those of a man…?”

  5. Isaiah 55:9 • "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

  6. Isaiah 40:15.17 • Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust... Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.

  7. God is worthy of praise • 1 Timothy 1:17 -- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

  8. Isaiah 40:28 • Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

  9. The All Dwelling God • Psalm 139:7-10 – “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”

  10. The Creature Bows Down • Nehemiah 9:6 --You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.

  11. Psalm 100:3 • Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

  12. Psalm 27:7-8 • Hear my voice when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek.
