  2. Introduction • Healthcare is an urgent society problem. • Demand on senior healthcare has been increased • Health information report by the mobile device is critical to the user’s health. Healthcare for Seniors- alfaidi - UCCS

  3. The Goal • To develop mobile application on both the iPhone and the Apple Watch to manage the health of elderly people and evaluate their effectiveness. Healthcare for Seniors- alfaidi - UCCS

  5. Senior Health App • Remind the user to take their medicine and record the dosage they take. • If the user misses a dosage, the mobile app can notify the emergency contact or the health provider. Healthcare for Seniors- alfaidi - UCCS

Senior Health App Features • The notification will be shown on the watch. • Measure the heart rate and when the heart rate becomes below or above certain threshold, it will notify the user emergency contact. • Remind the user daily to move around and perform some activities Healthcare for Seniors- alfaidi - UCCS

  7. Apple Watch • Data from the Apple watch are provided by the two built-in sensors • One reports the movement of the body.(workout and activities) • The other reports the expansion or shrinkage of blood vessel. (Heart rate and Health) Healthcare for Seniors- alfaidi - UCCS

  8. Tools • To build this application I will use a mac computer with Xcode7 installed. • The language for coding will be Swift 2 • Use: WatchKit, App Group, HealthKit. Healthcare for Seniors- alfaidi - UCCS

Deliverable • The master thesis report that documents the results of my research including the design and implementation of the mobile apps and the analysis of the experiments conducted. • IPhone and Apple Watch application for improving healthcare for seniors.
