Phase 1.0 • Completed the project on budget and on schedule • Implemented an Identity Management infrastructure to support Zonal to Nodal Migration with the following features: • User Hierarchy to support administration of tool • Delegated management of Administrators, Entities and Market Participants • Integrate with the MIS Portal • Creation of a Roles based architecture to provision to Siebel Enterprise LDAP, Zonal Portal and (in future phases) Nodal Applications. • Audit of all provisioning transactions • Notification of Errors to MPIM Administrators ERCOT Public

Sandbox and EDS • MPIM Phase 1 will deploy to the Nodal Sandbox environment Mid-December (Access and training information will be distributed then) • Current MP USAs with valid Digital Certificate will be able to access and test the tool • Goal is to allow MP’s to see the look and feel of MPIM with some familiar users and data • Transactions performed in the Nodal Sandbox environment will have NO impact on EDS or Zonal Production • Test Data available • Zonal users and roles will be available for testing purposes • Nodal Roles are not available for assignment • Comments/Feedback must be sent to EDS3@ercot.com by 12/31/2007 to be considered for MPIM Phase 1.5 • Deploy to EDS spring 2008 ERCOT Public

Phase 1.5 • Deployment date of early March to EDS • Phase 1.5 deployment will be the cutover from the existing TML user management system to MPIM. • Current Scope: • Integration with VeriSign Automation Project 60013 • Auto-provisioning NMMS (IMM) Active Directory • Seeding from Zonal Portal • Integration Testing with MMS, CRR, NMMS and OS • Incorporate top priority enhancements from feedback received by 12/31/07 ERCOT Public

Roles - Process • Reviewed Zonal role structure • Solicited MP feedback and direction • Discussed with UI Subgroup • Resulting matrix distributed to UI Subgroup for comment • Simpler is better • Primary difference is some can do all, others only can see all • Within an application • Not currently supported in Zonal • Developed a Business Role by Application Matrix • 9 Business Roles • Establish application access by Business Role ERCOT Public
