As per an InterNations Expat City Ranking in 2017, New York was ranked as one of the ten cities in the world where foreignersfeelwelcome,withalmost86%of the expat community expressing that the localcultureisextremelyfriendlytogetused to.Theunquestionabledominanceofthecity in making expats feel at home remains to date. The only negative features were the high cost of living and the sky-rocketing housingmarketofNYC.
