19. Fond of Mecca I am, drowning in its love Dare I not be so, with the land where Muhammad was born?

20. Mecca, so great you are that elated I am when I cite your name And as I do, of love I smile until tears remind me how distant you are

21. My longing for you is paved with silent tears and thunderous groans For indeed I miss you so much my dearest beloved prophet

22. With love so deep, with fondness so profound Ardently my heart aches

23. As years pass by, your remembrance is a sun that never sets

24. Help me… aid me… love is wearing me out

25. You drive the blues away O Muhammad O Muhammad, please mend my broken heart

26. Reach out to me O Muhammad So that my wounds may heal

27. O Muhammad, the one whose path I follow Your love melts my heart

28. Yet it helps so much to know that within my love for you is my remedy too
