HpCoolSense 2.1 Text to revise • What is HP CoolSense? • HP CoolSense lets you take greater control over your notebook PC’s thermal settings through the use of predetermined modes that balance performance, temperature, and internal fan speed/noise. Please see below for descriptions of each mode. • Off • HP CoolSense will configure the thermal settings on your notebook PC to optimize the computer to operate at peak performance.  As a result, sustained usage of your notebook PC may result in higher temperatures than in "On" mode. • On • In this mode, HP CoolSense will auto-detect whether your notebook is stationary or mobile and optimize the notebook PC’s thermal settings to match your usage environment. • In stationary use, HP CoolSense will prioritize performance and set itself to “Off” mode. During mobile use, HP CoolSense will prioritize temperature and set itself to “On” mode.
