Equality vs. Congruency Congruency • When referring to the actual structure (i.e. ABC & FG) • Whenever you use Properties of Congruency Equality • When using measure/lengths (i.e. m ABC & FG) • Whenever you need NUMBERS • If you add, subtract, multiply, divide • Whenever you use Properties of Equality
